We celebrate 27yrs 12/26. I always get why would you get married the day after Christmas? Do you get comments like that?
I go through the wedding album every year on our anniversary-just so the day is honored in some way.

Yes I get the why did you get married then question. Depending on who it is I give several reasons. But that is the date husband chose. So that is the date we went with.
We have not done a whole lot. I pulled something in my back the other day. So we are probably going to dinner. I got him a tool from Home Depot and so far I have gotten Horton hears a Who on DVD with a stuffed Horton. Obviously with my name you can see I love Dr. Seuss so it was appropriate.

Fran, It is so you can be almost assured to have that day off? I can't understand the hunters who want to marry during hunting season. Don't they know that their special day will land on their special event days? That can be a challenge in itself. It is like giving up their favorite hobby for life! (Unless spouse hunts also but that usually changes with the 1st baby).
