Thank you thank you thank you! My sis-in-law and I have been SCREAMING bipolar from the start, but his psychiatrist won't even discuss it! If anyone has noticed, I was just diagnosed with bipolar (per my profile) so...eh....yeah, the pieces are starting to fall in place. I just made an appointment with the neurologist, but trying to change my insurance to find another one with a possible, sooner appointment. This all started when my difficult child started to take Adderall. He was OK, at first...but then got very hyper, violent, etc... (all the symptoms, in order, in the original post). I totally blamed this on the Adderall as I had never seen him get violent like he had. So from that, we went to Strattera. No change at all. We took him off of everything. The same EXACT cycle happened over the summer. He, eventually, got kicked out of summer camp because of it. This time, I've been able to tell the staff at his school what was going to happen next and EVERYtime I was right on the nose. That has to say something, right? He's at the hurting people stage, now. I'm just waiting for the next suspension letter...
