Just now getting online-so I am really late. difficult child had to be at work at 9:00 Sunday morning but before he left, he gave me a really nice gift. I collect vintage cat figurines and cat art. He gave me a nice oversized coffee cup that has a cat on it and says "I Love Cats" and a spoon rest in the shape of a cat that matches a candle holder and some salt and pepper shakers he had given me a few years before. Last year he said "Happy Mother's Day" only after being reminded of the day by husband. This year he remembered on his own (husband did NOT remind him), shopped with his best friend for my gift as well as best friend's Mom's gift and apologized for last year's behavior.

Since this past weekend consisted of visiting with my own Mom, having a grad cookout for difficult child and difficult child's acknowledgement of Mother's Day from difficult child-it was STELLAR!
