A very good Tuesday morning, friends....

Good morning all,

It's a foggy morning here this morning as the January thaw continues. It's to be in the 40's again today. :bravo:

Our mental health case manager is stopping by today with paperwork for kt & wm; we have to sign a continuance of the treatment plan. No big changes due on that. Sometimes, you gotta love status quo.

I have another opthamology appointment today - supposed to get some kind of angiogram done on my eyes. Doesn't sound the least bit fun. Today we're just going to set up the process & do a prescreen or something like that.

Other than that, it's status quo!

Have a good day, friends. I hope you find many reasons to smile today & that your difficult children are angels.

Good Morning,

Linda-difficult children that are angels huh? Had to smile at that one! That sure would be something! I hope your appts. go well today!

It's foggy here too still. I've never seen such fog as the last couple of days. After an initial high in the 40s the temps are supposed to start dropping again. Yesterday we tied a record high 47 degrees.

Good thing I love my class so much-it made going back to work much easier yesterday. BUT... I MISS MY NAPS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tonight after work difficult child has wrestling practice. It's my turn to take him so I'm not sure if I'll get to the club today.

I hope everyone has a peaceful day! :bath:

G'day, Linda, Sharon & all to follow.

Linda, I hope the ophthalmology appointment isn't too unpleasant. Sometimes it seems life is just one long round of doctor appointments and paperwork. I'm taking easy child 2/difficult child 2 to the stomach specialist tomorrow. She's got another test to have first.

Sharon, 47 degrees sounds almost civilised. I hope the fog isn't too nasty. As the temperature drops I suppose it gets worse? it does here.

We had the high humidity condense out a bit this morning, with a lot of cloud around which never quite went away. husband had an appointment, so difficult child 3 & I shopped (birthday pressie for BF1) then husband joined us and we bought some much-needed clothes for him. That was our first post-Christmas sales shopping. Then we drove to Sydney airport to collect mother in law, flying in from Perth where she spent Christmas & New Year.

I'm really beginning to feel the heat - not sure if it's menopause kicking in, having finally quit the HRT. I seem to be having "tropical moments" but it could just be because the weather IS a bit tropical at the moment.

Right now I'm sitting here in my swimsuit late in the night, fan blowing, windows wide open, eating frozen mango nectar with a spoon. I wore my swimsuit all day (with a skirt) even in the mall.

If we get home early enough after lunch tomorrow, it's back to the beach.

Wish me luck!

trying to survive....
Good Morning All-

Linda-Fingers crossed for the eye appointment--hopefully it isn't too uncomfotable-and status quo is good !!

Marg-I hope you survive the heat !!

Sharon--I hope you find time to fit in that work out--I'm jealous that you always find time to work out-

A somewhat busy day planned--difficult child woke up saying he wasn't feeling well...but that tv should help him get well--At least he woke up extra early so I'm hoping the "tv" is the cure, because I can't miss work as I have two very important meetings today.

I hope everyone has a pleasant day !!

Good Morning Everyone :coffee:,

I don't have time to address each of you individually because I have a meeting at the high school regarding difficult child 2. I'm really not looking forward to it. I hope it is quick and to the point!!! Anyway, I exercised extra hard today. I need all the help I can get to remain calm and strong during this morning's fun,(I'm just way too sarcastic!!!) event!!!

As always, I hope each and every one of you has at least one reason to laugh or at least smile today!!! :flower: WFEN

P.S. Just thinking of my difficult children acting like :angel:s has me !!!

Going Green
I'm at work (shhhh!) and can't replay individually also but I hope everyone's day goes well and painfree! (Linda!)

School FINALLY started back up today!!!

I've been callling around to find out about coverage for difficult child as he turns 18 in a matter of weeks. :faint: Also will be meeting with the case worker from special services at the school to see what we can find for him after he graduates. Should be a fun process! LOL

Have a good day and Morning to anyone who snuck in.
