husband has been super down about having been out of work for over a year. Last week he got a call from the head of his Master's program at the university asking if he would help a prof teach a class one night a week!!
He is over the MOON!! It is a prof he really wanted to take a class from but never managed to. He started tonight and came home exhausted at 11:30 because the class is an hour away, but he clearly felt great about himself!!!!!
I am thrilled. He gets visiting instructor pay (which is pretty good) and will be working with the prof very closely.
He is also picking up temp work with the student bookstore and at the various sporting events, so he is once again quite busy and fairly happy.
I just hope that at some point he can get hired somewhere full time. It is really worrying him.
