OMG! Not only is that stove avocado green, the tea kettle is avocado green too! I remember back (doesn't seem that long ago) when appliances were available in harvest gold or avocado green, and you'd ocasionally see white ones! Why did we ever think that they looked good?
My sister-in-law had the ultimate '60's tacky kitchen! Her house had a built-in range and wall oven that were both PINK!
They came with the house. She wanted so badly to replace them but just couldn't make herself do it ... unfortunately they both worked perfectly and kept right on working and working and working ... the appliances that wouldn't die!
