America's strides

I was born in 1968 and I am simply amazed at the changes that have occurred in my lifetime. Some good, some bad, some just change for the sake of change. But this really gives me hope for our children's future that someday, perhaps, those with disabilities will also be treated with dignity. Maybe the taboos about mental and emotional health will fall away. Those with neurological difficulties and conditions will be judged less harshly. Maybe there will be less "us versus them" and more unity. More "we".

All I can say is we are going forward and hope to continue so that everyone feels that their government represents them. Every child should feel they could run for president based on their achievements and character of their soul.
