Just some food for thought in case you were wondering if this is all going to add up to much for the environment. in my opinion, it really is just another taxpayer funded program to help the auto industry (sorry if that's too political)!

Didnt read the article...maybe should...lol. But I thought I heard yesterday or the day before that the fund was empty? Personally I think they shouldnt have destroyed the clunkers if they still ran like someone else suggested because they could have donated them to people who cant afford cars..such as battered womens shelters or those places that auction cars for charity. I mean really, did they honestly think that everyone in america was going to be able to afford a new car in this economy? We have people who are living in tents because their homes were foreclosed on...who is gonna loan them money on a car?
