Once we got our school to agree that difficult child needed "some" aide help, they were on-side to document the seriousness of his issues... so that they can get funding for a full-time aide for him. We all knew he didn't need that much - but most kids who need some aide help, can't get it. By getting funding for difficult child's needs... we are really providing a part-time aide for about 5 kids in each class, on average. If school understands that by working together to get the funding, MORE kids will have their needs met... it might help get them on-side, too.

Getting in the 90s is almost unheard of? WOW. I graduated college with nothing under a 94. The 94 would have been higher but I got a 88 on one pop quiz.
