Anyone else party poop on New Years Eve?

Another party pooper here.
When I was younger I'd always have a party at my house on New Year's Eve. I was pretty much a party girl but I stayed in then...I always said it was dangerous when all of those amateur drinkers were out.
I usually celebrate the New Years by reading a book and kissing the dogs at midnight.
My mother and I will go out for an EARLY dinner but we will be in for most of the night.

Wow. Are there professional drinkers out there? I'm envisioning some guy saying, "Yeah, dude...I can drink a quart of MD 20/20 in under a minute. Then toss me another. You ain't got nothin'. Boonesfarm?...look at you. You're pathetic. I'm a PROFESSIONAL drinker. I have medals to prove it. Actually, they are DUI tickets, but that's a damn medal in my mind."
It's bad when you chuckle at your own response.
