I realize this has been on for a couple of months, but I just stumbled across it. Have any of you watched "the Protector" starring Ally Walker and Tisha Campbell Martin? It is on lifetime or you can catch full episodes online at www.mylifetime.com
It is another crime show, but they have a lot of the personal lives of the characters included, rather than just the work lives. Most of that focuses on Walker's character- a detective named Gloria, the adult brother that she shares a house with, and her two sons. It isn't the doom and gloom, technical jargon and/oe 2 shootouts before lunch type of show. It has a lighter feel and the home/work/mom/me juggle that the main character has to keep going.
Anyone else watch? I am trying to dvr the earliest episodes because I missed them.
