Asking for prayers and comforting thoughts for strangers...

My priest has reached out for prayers for a family I do not know. Their baby, L, was born last Tuesday and suffered from oxygen deprivation during birth (the umbilical cord was wrapped around her throat). Her prognosis isn't good and the family plans to remove her from life support on Sunday or Monday. While I don't know these parents... my heart goes out to them. Please consider praying or sending supporting thoughts for Baby L, Mom A and Dad B.

How heartbreaking that must be for those poor parents and the rest of their family. You think that you're going to bring home a beautiful, healthy baby and then something like that happens. I just can't imagine going through something like that! I will keep this family in my thoughts and my prayers.
