In the US, the only people who can legally get services for a child are the parents so if it is the same in the UK there is no point in trying. Your daughter will probably have a meltdown and keep grand from you. I wouldn't do it.

I know. I have no intention of doing anything as she will punish me and my Grand child by not allowing us to see each other. When I have her overnight I will try my best to encourage her development. At home her Mum rarely plays with her and never sits on the floor at her eye level. She had the tv on all the time, her dummy/soother in her mouth. When my grand daughter is with me I take it out of her mouth and switch the TV off. I will continue to do my best. I never say anything or give my opinion unless asked.
