Babies remember being neglected

    That's sad. I wish mine remembered how loved they were as babies.

    oh, your post made me sad.

    I think that's why I'm so crazy about keeping pictures and journaling little notes. Years later I know my kids will be able to look back and feel the love even when I'm not there to tell them.

    What an experiment.
    I read the comments and posted one of my own. I quoted someone else's comment and then added to it:
    but come on is finishing washing your hair really doing permanent damage probably not.
    I agree ... as long as it's very short term. That's how we learn. It's when it's constant and lengthy that it's going to do more harm than good.
    You know, it's funny that researchers have to spend time and money on saliva samples when moms know this instinctively.
