Most probiotics now availabe are not grown on dairy sources. They are usually grown on different culture media that can be easily seperated from the "good bugs" during preperation.

Check local pharmacies and talk to pharmacists. They very well might be able to help you without you having to go the expense of shopping at a place like Whole Foods.

by the way, GOOD probiotics require being kept refrigerated. They are living beings and the chill protects them against being colonized by other bugs.

Thanks to easy child's dairy allergy Im a Whole Foods nut and since I'd planned on going tomorrow to check out supplements for me Ill check there. Im training for Pat's Run 2010, woo hoo finally I get a piece of myself back even if I do have to push 60lbs worth of difficult child and easy child in a 37lb stroller to do it!
