Well, I tend to think that everything we do in life is based on behavior mod. from the day we are born, behavior mod starts. Dont touch the stove it hot, dont touch the outlets, dont touch knobs, come here for kisses and hugs and a cookie. All behavior mod. Nothing is inherently in that says medication cannot be used. I am on medication but that doesnt mean that the normal laws which are behavior modifications used for all of society dont work on me. If I drive to fast, I get a ticket...behavior mod. If I steal...behavior mod. If I use a scratch off lottery ticket and win...behavior mod. even black friday is a form of behavior mod. The thing is you have to find a persons currency for behavior mod to work. What is it that is so important to someone that they are willing to work for or are not willing to lose...and when you find that out...you have the key. If I had known about this long ago, I would have been miles ahead in the game. Stickers and little flimsy toys just didnt cut it as currency for Cory. Cold hard cash did. I truly think I could have had him finish high school if I had paid him for behavior and grades.
