I dunno about anyone else, but my mood swings and irratibility (understatement there lol) were more profound right at the last. So I'm guessing at that point my hormones were probably a mess.

I'm releaved I haven't had the emotional mess for the past 8 months, and believe me, so is the rest of the family. I literally was doing alot of growling there at the last. And the period symptoms were horrid. And the darn hot flashes from hades certainly weren't helping my moods any.

Then POOF! Nothing. And I'm happy as a pig in mud.

Seriously, if your doctor won't listen have a tantrum, get stubborn and make him listen. There is no reason for you to be miserable.

I was in a drug-induced menopause several years ago and my doctor was pooh-poohing everything. Until I told him that I wanted to kill someone and I wasn't picky who. He listened then.
