Don't know if you've ever seen them, but I grew up around them flying around all the time. A few tragedies here and there, but for the most part they have been perfect. They fly very close to the ground and very close to other airplanes. It's an amazing show to watch.

I'm not sure, but I think this is a Southern CA flight. Other than growing up outside of Ellsworth AFB in school district, the other episodes I had was in Vegas...Nellis AFB. There would be the most amazing com-trail patters after they did their morning flights. I had the fortunate experience of having the Cornell's kid in my classroom. He'd let me know when there where 'pattern' days so I could take my students out to watch and measure the angles of the passes. They were so precise it was amazing. Beats working out of a textbook for fractions and decimals.

He literally said they'd sit down in the morning and find something fun to do. Dozen pilots and the game was on. It was awesome to watch. He'd give me the coordinates and I'd work it into a math lesson. Lots of fun.
