The hat he's wearing is supposed to be a birthday cake. It was so cute. But in the pics it looks like he's wearing a bonnet. lol

And Nichole's now Infamous Spnge Bob cake. Whenever she makes one I kid you not it draws crowds. Stupid girl won't take orders and make some extra cash!:ashamed:

Lisa, thanks for sharing.

Brandon is such a little cutie. Those eyes of his just sparkle.
And that HAT! That'll be ammunition for when he brings home his first girlfriend later on.

Darrin and Aubrey have grown so much.

You have beautiful grandkids.

Great pics! What a cutie!

Are the hands/legs just icing on the foil? The cake looks great. Is it a shaped pan or just a reg cake pan? She should take orders, in my opinion. I bet she could make some good $$, esp with the price of cakes at the bakery.

You have great looking grands, even when dressed alike. Some people really get a kick out of that. Thank heavens my mom only did that when we went on vacation to places like Disney. She read somewhere that it made it easier to describe what your kids were wearing. She made the whole family, even my dad, dress exactly alike. The last time she caught my dad buying each of us a souvenir shirt and changing us as soon as we were away from her, LOL. He HATED the matching. anything matching, lol. Now HE buys my boys matching shirts, etc.... (Makes us ALL laugh, even the boys!)

You won't believe it but that cake is made up of cupcakes. (easier for serving) Nichole stumbled onto the technique when she went to bake Aubrey some cupcakes but only had a small square cake pan. She places the empty papers into the pan, then fills them carefully. They come out square instead of round. And the icing is done on the foil, yes. Not really hard to make if you can draw with icing.........which Nichole can do but I can't. lol

Mom dressed the boys alike and us girls alike (even if it meant she had to make the outfits) until the older kids moved out. I was never so happy to see them go! lmao! I never dressed my girls alike. If I'd have had twins I'd have even refused to dress them alike. I hated it!!

I was never tempted to dress mine alike because they're 5 years apart and one's a boy and one's a girl. But if I had two of the same sex that were close in age, I think I would be very tempted.

When mine were little and went on field trips, I would dress them in the brightest colors I could find, like neon yellow or fire engine red. I figured they would be easier to spot that way. Looking back, I must have been out of my mind to let the day care people take my three year old 'climber' on a field trip to a place called "Gatorland"!

Here we go again!
Oh, he is SO cute! :D

I admit to dressing the two difficult child's alike for holiday pictues -- they're both boys and 27 months apart so I could get away with it. As they got older, I'd buy them shirts that were the same design but different color. And now they wear whatever's lying on the top of the pile on their floor, so I give up. :p

Daisy,

LOVED the picture of him with the cake all over his face. I think you're right about the bonnet. That's the one that should go on the table at his wedding engagement party. lol.

The Spongebob cake is fantastic. You're right again - silly girls. That is a money maker. Can she make a Donkey cake? lol.

Your Grandchildren are beautiful. You're a lucky Nannie, and I swear you look like you've lost weight. (must be pharm class doin' it to you)
