Well the College of Physicians and Surgeons investigator called me today. We spend a good 30 to 45 minutes going over the issues at hand. He is sending me a consent and complaint package in the mail to fill out (prefilled with what I already emailed them with). He explained the process, said they are completely transparent and will send the doctors rebuttal as well (so that I can correct any erroneous statements if any). Then they go to a 5 person panel for assessment (committee) of the situation and recommendations that need to be made. The CEO did contact me on 15th but has since made no other contact. He did not even read the email I had sent him prior (his email was given to me by the mayor of the city). I still haven't had proper medical attention. Husband is taking me back to the ER in town himself on Friday and will be attending with me. Investigator insinuated that the process to my medical issues was to do the blood work but I can't say either way if it was siding with my side (he can't, he has to remain neutral and I agree that he should). I told him it's not like I'm seeking monetary restitution, an apology perhaps but I am a reasonable woman and would just like the unbiased medical care I am entitled to. It's my right as a human being. He agreed with me. Now to see if the rest of my complaints go unnoticed or not. It is a 3 to 5 month process with the college and investigation by them. I don't mind though, I don't want this happening to someone else. It needs to be addressed.
