Well this had been a tough week on me, seeing Baby J so obviously NOT himself. Shivers from morphine, sickie and bland, yellow and puffy. But the Wiskott Aldrich doctor is very pleased with his numbers, so I did my best to take all in stride. And then, yesterday afternoon, when he woke up from a nap, there was Baby J again! He was smiley and chatty. We got down on the floormat and played. He walked! He stood! We sang and laughed and threw things. It was awesome. Later daughter in law reported he was able to actually EAT some crackers - first oral food in over 3 weeks!! Sadly, he could not keep them down and was sickie all night. But, no fever today, cough is much less, yellow is all gone, and weight is dropping. Platelet level is GOOOOOOD!!!! Last night was first night he didn't need any in his IV. WOW! And today he remains cheerful and gabby. Dropping the morphine in half, so we'll hope for the very very best with that!! Today is my last visit here, I will return home tomorrow. Peace
