The DNC headquarters is in my building. I am seriously thinking of taking my vacation that week. The traffic, the heightened security, what a mess.

Yup. Vacation time.

When we were first married, we used to have an apt next to the state fair grounds. Just coming home from work would take 1/2 hr longer than usual, and the police wouldn't let us into our own apt complex until we showed ID. We learned back-road approaches but it was still a very long 10-day stretch every yr. and nervewracking, especially when work was rough and all you wanted was to lie down on the couch and cover your head.

I'd ask someone for an autograph and sell it on Ebay.

I'd ask someone for two autographs and sell one on E-Bay. Then I'd get out of town! Does anyone remember 1968? It's not going to be pretty.

I can only imagine. You could go one of two ways...get out of town, or score.

Secret tapings, photos...it could be Watergate 2!! Maybe Hillary is slipping into the bathroom with Obama. (No...I didn't just say that.)
