Detachment laugh for the day

After not hearing from my difficult child for almost a year, it made me feel better to have some contact. The relationship he is in is full of drugs, alcohol, and drama. She is a very jealous, controlling, spiteful person. He is too! and together they are a disaster.

She posted this on FB pretending to be him (I'm not on FB, you don't have to be, someone will always let you know what is posted lol). She was sending me texts and messages pretending to be him before and my son's grammar and punctuation are much different lol! Of course, you can imagine it got the attention she wanted from my family!!

You have to laugh at how immature these two very close to middle age kiddies are! Learning to detach is heavenly!

"I HAVE A SERIOUS CONFESSION. LAST NIGHT, I WAS DRUNK, AND I LOOKED FOR HOOKERS ON XXX CHATROOMS. I WAS MAD AT MY BEAUTIFUL GIRLFRIEND, BECAUSE I HAVE A SERIOUS ALCOHOL PROBLEM, AND AFTER YEARS OF MAKING HER SUFFER, SHE DECIDED TO TAKE A BREAK FROM ME, AND GO OUT WITH HER BOSS TO THE CASINO. I COWARDLY RESORTED TO WHORES AND PROSTITUTES TO TRY AND GET BACK AT HER, AND SHE FOUND OUT. I ALSO CONTACTED ***,THE PERSON WHOM I CHEATED ON MY GIRL WITH LAST YEAR, WHILE SHE WAS SITTING IN JAIL,FALSELY ACCUSED. I AM ASHAMED OF THE PERSON I AM, AND I APOLOGIZE TO ANY PARTIES INVOLVED.

Oh dear! Your son has definitely made quite a catch in her!

For things like that, only thing you can do is chuckle.

I also have my own chuckle/smirk fest going on with my difficult child's antics and social media. Though mine is still far from middle age and I'm not totally given up parenting him yret, so to him, I try to show appropriate disappointed disapproval. Even if secretly I'm just scratching 'watch daily soap' out from my timetable due no need for scripted drama ;)
