Nancy, MY difficult child/easy child daughter used to live like that but she was not an addict just had mental health issues. I wanted her to learn to live a better life on her own but she found her now husband and she is still a bit of a difficult child (a little selfish and narcissistic) but she is doing well and a SAH mommy and loving it. Sometimes standing on their own is not what they need so if Prince charming comes along and changes her life in a good way...Yeah. If she gets it on her own even better!
