Interestingly....I found out today that difficult child had a sub on Friday. When he got aggitated and asked for the SpEd teacher, who is his "safe" person, the sub didn't call her, as is the plan in place for him.

Thus, he escalated.

There are new "instructions" written for all subs, now. But now I'm not happy that wee got suspended for this...

I'm sorry Shari, poor difficult child. I would contest the suspension since the IEP plan wasn't followed. They dropped the ball - not difficult child!

I agree about contesting the suspension; the iep should have been followed. This happened to difficult child as well when he had subs in elementary school; we were not happy and probably should have contested it.
