Oh, one thought--maybe you can put a bunjee cord around the trash from now on? The kind you use to hold car trunks closed? Something that you can get on and off with-your hands, but that will deter the dog from future raids.:smug:

I have to agree with Loth. $200 for an emergency hospitalization is a STEAL!! My dog's recent emergency (granted it was a holiday weekend) cost me $200 just to be seen! Hospitalization, pain medications, and fluids was waaay more.

So glad to hear your puppy is out of the woods!
