STOP cleaning the ear.....first of all - that cleaner that you have has alcohol in it and is going to IRRITATE it......and IS making it worse. Secondly --it's not helping. That cleaner I don't think is getting rid of the mites. If the ear is THAT infected? She needs to be on antibiotics and get the ear professional irrigated. If you feel the need to clean it ? WITCH HAZEL - (it's what's in preparatiion H - shrinks swelling of tissue) and it's NON irritating. ALSO hydrogen peroxide - is NON irritating....But at this point? HER EAR is RAW from the other cleaner. The only thing I would attempt? Is peroxide .....and warm it a little .....pour it in her ear canal and take the bottom of her ear and massage it (take the entire ear in your hand and massage at the base) Then use a cotton ball DO NOT USE A QTIP.....and a wet warm wash cloth........and try to clean the brown gunk oiut - thats ear mite POOP......AND be warned.......if one of your dogs has ear mites...THE OTHERS WILL GET THEM. So you're going to have to treat EVERYONE. As far as that stuff you put on her for a tick? It may not remove a deeply embeded one.....but I don't think you have a tick.....I stand by my original diagnosis.s.......
