dr. appointment tmrw

hi!

so we have a blizzard here they aren't sure how much we'll end up with. yet my doctor appointment with the specialist is tmrw. to confirm the ms.

im happy to finally be going and to get answers hopefully, it's a long time and coming. i hope i dont' come home and say well i'm negative for ms and they still dont' know what's wrong lol.

funny thing is it started again yesterday, i should of known because day before i woke up feeling horrible which was a sign. than yesterday i woke up in pain, numb tingling feet, difficulty walking a real mess. so hopefully the mri will show active lesions and we can begin to treat whatever's going on.

We had snow too - Had to laugh when they said HUGE WINTER SNOW STORM ----I look out and it' looks like a snow globe or a Currier and Ives painting. Ran out in shorts and a tank top, made a snow angel - came back in.

Hope all goes well at the doctors tomorrow. Hope the snow never leaves here. I makes everything so pretty.

I hope very much that they can help you. Do NOT let them get away with not treating the pain. Ignored pain can do very nasty, long term, even dangerous things to the body. While MS is not something I would wish on anyone, hopefully you will get some answers and medications to help you.

Write out any questions you can think of today. It will help you figure out what to ask, to pass on info you will otherwise forget, and to make sure you truly understand what they are saying. Please let us know as soon as possible what the doctor says, and what he does to help you.

hi star yes i know, alot of snow! i didn't expect they'd be right either till i looked out side lol.

susie - thanks. yea we'll c. i already got something for swelling. naperson i think it's called. yesterday was painful, yet usually it isn't pain it's just highly uncomfortable. it makes it hard to walk normally. we'll c what they say. i do not want an mri,i am clostrophobic so i'm not looking forward to it at all.

cancelled they called early to cancel and said we'll reschedule it tmrw they'll call. no doubt no one can even get out of here. snow plows haven't even been out.

I am so claustrophobic I cant even get an MRI done. I did have one done while I was in the coma but I sure hope they did a full body one because the next one may be when Im dead. I seriously have told them there is nothing that they can find on an MRI that I am that interested in knowing about if the only way they can find it is with an MRI. I have said that I will have one done if they will put me under IV sedation but that is the only way.

doctor's keep telling me I will be just fine if I take a valium or two. Oh no I wont. I tried that. I still came flying off that table like the devil himself was after me and I knew I was gonna be scared so I took more than the one stupid valium they gave me. I took the valium, two of my ativan, a clonopin, and two vicodin. I shouldnt have been able to walk!
