I cannot imagine being kidnapped off of my school bus, then having the kidnapper lock me in a tiny bunker, make me fried chicken, and then experiencing the army coming in and shooting the guy to smithereens. Just too bizarre.

I feel so bad for the boy and his mom. What an awful thing to have to endure. I hope the whole family, and community, can get some help. Whatever I think of Dr. Phil, he does seem to be able to talk to vulnerable kids in a way that is respectful, caring and gentle.
