little bake sale after our church service today. Their teacher and the mother of two of the friends will both be running in a marathon next weekend to support the teacher's 8 year cousin that suffers from Neurofibromatosis Type 2 (NF2). These girls raised over $70 to help find a cure.

Good for Duckie I think it's great when our kids do things to help others-it leaves them with such a great feeling as well as good experience for the future

I can't wait to take Duckie to school tomorrow: she and her friends will give the teacher to $$$ in a card and I'll make sure the leftovers are given to her as well for the students. None of the mothers wanted the treats in the house, lol!

Duckie's teacher was quite overwhelmed, she said she would hand deliver everything to her cousin. The other kids in the class weren't interested in the fund raising... but wanted to know when they could have some of the leftover treats, lol!
