Duckie wants another pet

I want nothing I have to brush or clean up after. She was thinking turtle or lizard or frogs. Has anybody bought this before, what do you think:

That's a neat tank/system. I never had one like that, but I did at one time have a huge fish tank, and among the many fish, had a really neat little aquatic frog. He was very entertaining.

I don't know about frogs or lizards, but I know turtles can carry salmonella. My daughter (the nurse) had a turtle that she found in her apt. complex parking lot when it was just tiny and she kept it in an aquarium until it was 6 or 7 inches long. She had to be fanatical about washing her hands every time she touched the turtle or the aquarium, and even more so before she went to work.

Wee had a frog thing and it didn't go very well. But may just be us, too.

He also has a turtle, and its a nice pet. He's had it since it was the size of a half dollar and its quite the little social guy(or gal?) now.
