Earth hour still going on...

I meant to post this and got busy with my sick child!
We still have 2 hours and 15 minutes to go before lights out!
8:30 to 9:30 is Earth Hour.
Turn your lights off if you can... turn off all electricity if possible.

We are going outside and lighting a fire.

Shoot. I didn't know that was tonight. It's already 9:15 here. I did it last year....

It was last night for us. We actually kept the lights out for the rest of the night, pretty much. Very restful.

While people turning lights off for an hour once a year isn't going to make much difference, it IS sending a message that these people care about minimising our greenhouse emissions and knowing how many people get involved does send a strong message to the governments of the world who make these decisions.

So it does have an impact.
