Easy applesauce canning recipe?

I got lots of apples from Freecycle, and would like to can them for later use. I've never done anything like this before, and really have no idea where to start. I'm thinking I'd like to make both applesauce and sliced apples.

Any words of advice?

I'll post a link to the recipe I used, it was surprisingly easy to make and the applesauce is delicious! I also made some of the apple sauce into apple butter (recipe is also on the same site)
