The power of the board came through!

He had the interview yesterday and he has orientation tomorrow. He will be giving 2 weeks notice to Kroger tomorrow. He will then be an employee of Costco - which is supposedly one of the best companies to work for.

I'm really happy for him. He worked hard and he was noticed.

Lord, what an AMAZING learning moment for him! He will never, ever forget that working hard will get you noticed, and propel you forward.

I wish people would give more young people a chance like this - a direct lesson in "being a good employee = good things happening to you". If that was reinforced well for all of us, at such a young age - imagine how much happier we'd all be??
