Thank you for your concern. Luckily here in Jerusalem we don't feel anything and have not been at the receiving end of any rockets fired from Gaza -- it is too far. But one of my daughters is now within firing range, which means no school for the children, and that they have to be near shelters so that when there is an alarm sounded, they can run there quickly. So far none of my sons has been called up for reserve duty, so I can consider myself lucky.

difficult child popped in this evening with his girlfriend, and they are in good spirits, enjoying their independence (and we are enjoying ours here in this household!!!). So far so good!
