Has anyone seen or heard of this book, The Invisible Cage by Donna Williams?
This caught my attention:
"By contrast, those with severe Exposure Anxiety have employed poo smearing to rid themselves of social entanglement, human proximity, and social invasion of their room and those with EA may also find incontinence can be preferable to the social intrusions of supervised toileting. But these people dont appear blissed out by smearing and when the EA is countered these behaviours go."
Just sounded like that might be why my difficult child smears and urinates inappropriately. I found the ebook online through my library, I was just curious if anyone has any experience with this book/theory.
