Turns out I may have to do what I've so long recommended to other people who don't have insurance and are low income.............I may have to contact the Lion's Club and see if they'll help me get new glasses.:sigh: My vision has gone to pot to put it mildly.........much much more so in the two years, and in all honesty? that I notice it to this degree tells me it's really bad. At the salon I had my glasses off and realized I can't even make out facial features of people unless they're really close..... And that is with effort. I've been functioning all squinted up to see out of the reading part of the bifocals trying to see for ages. Bad part? Just saw the eye doctor in Sept or Oct............he swears nothing has changed really, gave me new glasses that have done squat for me since the day I put them on. Told eye doctor that.............I got poo pooed. He has no clue how close he came to being decked. Today I go to renew my license and plates. Took the eye exam. Could not even SEE thing thing at all without my glasses. One big blur........peripheral vision......nothing. Thank heaven I could see the line required to be able to drive WITH the glasses, after 2 tries....still almost lost it over the peripheral part though. OMG I am so ticked. Except........... My Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) was to the occipital lobe mainly from impact........lord knows where else from ricochet (brain bounce from impact). So if eye doctor is right and the eye itself is not the problem........... It's probably neuro related. So would have to have that checked out. That is not so good. Much of Travis' vision issues are neuro related. Well.............at least now I know I'm not crazy, there really is a big problem.
