False Alarm, Thankfully!

    I had the follow up mammogram done today and they could not find the area they thought was the problem. They said it was probably a shadow and that this happens sometimes when you have fibroids the way I do. It was a BIG relief for all of us! Thanks for all your support.

    The part that sort of amazed me was that it took more time to go through registration than it did to have the mammogram films AND to have the radiologist read them! I am glad it is all over and that I didn't have to wait for results. I can remember when an aunt of mine had to wait for results for over a week. It was a really stressful week for her.
