Good ideas Toto!! We have a community college and a tech school thru the high school- I could call and check on that!

Yes- difficult child will help get things done. It's just that if he rages again, he might cause more damage than what he helped fix.. SIGH.

I just thought maybe the *project* might keep him busy and give him something to do. Maybe make him proud of his work and not want to destroy it?
I know it doesn't always work when they are raging... but maybe?

I'm more than willing to give it a shot! Even if we have to go thru this process more than once (he helped me while I painted one of the rooms that he ended up messing up)- anyway, I have to admit, there are a few things that I had to learn the hard way, too, by doing them over and over as a teen/young adult. As long as he's willing to put some sweat and make an effort, I'll do my best to hang in there and keep trying!!
