Finally got a Xmas gift from difficult child

Q was out with an Integrated Listening Systems (ILS) worker today. They went to Chuckie cheese and he got some fake teeth etc. He just came in my room a short while ago and said, " here mom, I got this candy as a prize... Happy Late Christmas" and he tossed a little piece of candy to me.

I said thanks and he came over and gave me a hug.

so, now I can't complain that I got nothing for Christmas from my kid.

And that is going to be the BEST tasting candy you've ever had isn't it? Mine spoiled me this year (with the help of my sister). I actually got things I WANTED from THEM!! LOL Every year they spend what little money they've earned to buy me something. It is always the best gift every year, no matter what it is (one year it was a pair of slippers 3x too big).
