Fool-proof peppersteak (I promise!)

    I can't cook to save my life, but I've made this a million times and have never messed it up

    Crock-pot Pepper Steak

    2 lbs cubed steak (Preferably chuck steak)
    2 green peppers cut into slices (or diced or whatever floats your boat)
    2 tsp onion powder
    1 tsp garlic powder
    1c beef broth
    1/4 c soy sauce
    1/2 tsp ground ginger

    Place 1/2 the steak at the bottom of a crock pot
    Next layer is all the sliced peppers
    Put remaining steak on top of that (like a pepper sandwich)
    Put all spices on top and liquids on top after that.

    Cook for 8-9 hours on low or 4-5 hours on high.
    You can use low sodium soy sauce but what's the point if you're eating steak?!

    I usually serve it with rice or egg noodles
    If I can't mess this up neither can you!!!!!

    And DavidH - I can't make steak either!!!!!!!! (Or much of anything else for that matter!!)

    Hmmm....I bet I can do this with venison and it would be good. I am always looking for new ways to use up that deer meat!

    This sounds great- thanks! I'm always looking for new ideas, too! I just posted some of my favorites for easy beef meals on the "chef" post if anyone wants to trade more ideas-
