For those of us in Virginia

I just learned that there is a bill pending in Virginia to establish a pilot program of mental health courts in our state. This is HUGE as far as I'm concerned, since there are so many mentally ill offenders in the system who fall through the cracks. I just wanted to pass the link along for anyone who wants to follow this legislation. You never know if and when some of our children may benefit from this sort of thing.

    Thanks.
They're been running articles and editorials in the paper to push for ins and spec educ coverage for autism, too. The last one was written by both a GOP and a Dem, which indicates that it will come to fruition.
