I was thinking about posting this as well!
N is a huge fan of Latke's! Of course the Gelt...

We aknowledge Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and Christmas for the girls so tonight we will start talking about Hanukkah.
We do not do the gifts, at least not this year.
We try to talk about all of the Holidays so the girls can form their own opinions.

Well, I can't have a menorah because I have nowhere to put one where I don't worry about one of the pets knocking it over.

I did however buy myself 3 potatoes and an onion and some oil, and will be having a very small order of homemade latkes tonight.

At least a small order for me--I love the things. husband and I used to fish them right off the blotting paper and scarf them down while trying not to burn our palates so badly.

I know some really tasty ways of fancying up latkes that not only cut calories, but also give them a nutritive boost.

Ack...I just realized I have to go back out again. Can't have latkes without sour cream.
