Going to attempt a trip to the beach...

difficult child 1 is being his usual pre-medication butthead self, for at least the next 30 minutes ... difficult child 2 just woke up and is shuffling around the house, thinking about getting his stuff ready for the day. easy child is laying on the couch playing her gameboy with no signs of moving.

I am not going to crack any whips or lift a finger to get their stuff ready -- if they want to go, they will have to do the work today. We may not end up getting down to the beach until very late this afternoon -- so be it!

Once difficult child 1's Focalin kicked in and he got his patch on he was a little better. I swear though that sometimes the only thing that gets his attention is when someone smacks him. difficult child 2 had enough if his b.s. and finally clobbered him. He straightened up beautifully after that. Do you think I'd get reported for using a shock collar on him? It's awfully tempting some days...
