Good Friday morning friends & fellow...

timer lady

Queen of Hearts
warrior :warrior: parents. We've made it to the weekend with very little wear & tear!?! Right??? :stopglass:

My sister in law will be stopping in for coffee & conversation before she leaves for home this morning....we had little time to visit. The convention she was covering & the trainings she was scheduled to teach were back to back. Oh well, maybe next time.

There is not one thing scheduled today (loving it!); I'm going to catch up on some personal laundry & have been working on my own parent's report of sorts for Mayo Clinic. That along with the gathering of reports & copies of all tests & such done will keep me busy until my appointment. (husband is taking me out to the grocery store to stock up for the weekend - hate running around in the cold if we don't have to)

kt knows the upcoming weekend will be bitterly cold so she is planning ahead. I hesitate to do it, but she would like beads & a case to start making jewelry. Not the cost - the quick loss of interest & then the destruction of yet one more vacuum cleaner. :highvoltage:

Here's to a calm Friday - I hope all your free choices are good ones. Note to difficult children - let's maintain today; mum & dad could use a quiet Friday evening. Note to mum & dad - there is always duct tape, but you didn't hear that from me.

Hug your loved ones & find one good reason to smile today - it'll do your spirit good.

G'day, Linda and all to follow.

Stringing beads - yep, they can cause havoc with the vacuum cleaner. Is there any way she can work in a large shallow tray, such as a drainage saucer for a large pot plant? You could use the argument that you don't want her to lose her favourites.

I've got to get difficult child 3 to complete some schoolwork tomorrow. Wish me luck!

I heard from the liver specialist - yes, I have to book the biopsy. But at least some of my test results were improved, which is good news. Everybody's home tonight, we're all settling in for a quiet night in front of the TV. Tomorrow night will be a very different story!

Enjoy your Friday.

:good_morning:

Linda-Enjoy your sister in law's visit today:DI can understand your hesitation with the beads. There have been times when difficult child was into making beaded pets. Beads everywhere! I love your note to our difficult children about a quiet night. I hope mine gets the message:please:

Marguerite-I hope you can get difficult child 3 to do some homework without having to extend a lot of effort on your part. Glad to hear some levels are getting better. Will be keeping you in my prayers.:angel2:

I finally got back to the club yesterday after two days off and it felt really good to get in a workout. :treadmill:

I have to say how much I'm loving having a full time student teacher. She is really good and also saved me time last night. I was going to pick up a birthday treat for one of the teachers in our room because I didn't have time to bake and she said she would love to do it! :D

After work difficult child has a therapist appointment. and then after a short nap I am planning on the health club-so much for an exciting Friday night! At least hopefully it will be a quiet one.

Enjoy your free choice Friday-make some fun choices!:painter:
