It's really difficult to help him manage this long distance. He's been referred to a specialist here - so I'm meeting him this afternoon with his x-rays in hand. I'm hoping that he won't need surgery, because if he does, he believes that time off could jeopardize his graduate assistantship. According to easy child, his boss is not very accomodating. It looks like he'll get a MRI evaluation and then the doctor will make some decisions. I hate to see him so stressed, but I know this is part of the growing up process. The facility where the meeting is held is called the Jekyll Island Club Resort. [QUOTE="1 Day At a Time, post: 197940, member: 3704"] Happy Friday Everyone!!! Fran, I hope that your trip goes as well as possible. I completely understood about it being "a task to get through". I'm sending many positive vibes your way. Linda, it sounds like you have a lot of activity going on right now.... how do you keep up with it all ? It's truly amazing! I hope we get to see the crimson flower - it sounds like a winnner. Sharon, Happy Birthday to easy child! Don't the years pass quickly? I know that you are very proud of her and I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Sharon , enjoy the game. I know it will be refreshing to get away for a little R&R. We all need it, don't we? Andy, the workshop sounds like fun - especially the part about seeing your friend that you haven't seen for a year. Enjoy her company and all the "catching up". :) Our easy child has been keeping us busy lately.
