Good Morning Thursday

G'day people.

We had a full day today. First difficult child 3 had a lesson at school, which meant driving to the heart of the city. I had a long talk to one of the SpEds about my concerns re difficult child 3 - possible executive function problems.

When we left the school we headed back to our district where I had my post cancer mammogram and ultrasound booked. Painful process on the shrinky dink breast. but necessary.

Then home. Rested a bit, then went to mother in law's to get dinner cooking. Now we're home heading for bed.

Tomorrow husband is off, but we are taking easy child 2/difficult child 2 to the psychiatrist (back to the city!). I have some paperwork to deal with, husband has some items to pick up - a few errands in general. And possibly having to take difficult child 3 to the GP to get his specialist referral for Monday. I'm thinking we need to tweak his medications. Or get an updated neuropsychologist assessment. or both.

Enjoy your Thursday.

Good Thursday Morning Marg! [Although you are heading off to bed while we in the States are just waking up].

I hope your tests turn out ok. It sounds like a full, but effective day.

Not much for me today. I'm heading to the gym, then to my book club, then I have to pick up a few things at the store. difficult child is supposed to be going to a dance tonight but they are calling for icky weather so I'm not sure whether or not that plan is a "go".

I let easy child drive my car last night. She has her permit and boy does she need practice. She ran over two curbs and in general did terribly. In her defense she hasn't practiced in six months - so we are trying to let her drive again. She was much better six months ago when she was driving regularly.

I hope everyone has a good day

Marg, I must say, I am so impressed with how good you and your husband are to your mother-in-law. She is so lucky to have you!

I heard from Oriel a few times by phone, and he has posted on Facebook. He has arrived safely in Sydney and has already been to Bondi Beach. He posted four photos on Facebook -- one of himself with the sea in the background, and three of a very swish car, which he says is a Ferrari. See, he had to go all the way to Australia to see a Ferrari!!! Anyway, he starts work on Monday, building wooden fences. That's all I know at the moment.

Have a good day, everyone!

Love, Esther

I wonder if it came from a mob in Marrickville that have a deal where you hire/drive them on an escorted tour of the southern beaches of Sydney down to Wollongong.

I am regulalrly overtaken by them on my home from the miniature train track in the 'Gong travelling in a 'pack' of four or five cars. It suprised the heck out of me the first time but I'm getting used to them now. Imagine! "Ho Hum, ANOTHER pack of Ferrari's." LOL
