G'day, people. TM, I'm sorry you're missing your father. The first Father's day, first birthday, first Chritsmas - it's always hard. The secret is to remember the times you had him there for Fathers Day and all the other times. You had all those years and that memory will be with you today. SRL, you sound like you have a productive day planned. I love cooking for those sort of things. I have a tomato relish recipe to die for, if you want it. It's late here tonight but difficult child 3 has been playing computer games, this is the first chance I've had to get to the computer. Definitely feelnig a lot better this evening. I have a meeting tomorrow, I should be going in to difficult child 3's school for it but I'm not sure if I'm quite well enough (despite improvement) plus he has two assessment tasks which must be given to him tomorrow morning. If I go in to the school and difficult child 3 comes with me, he won't be able to work on the assessment tasks on schedule. If I leave him at home, he will be unsupervised and not able to work so well. As it is, the meeting is planned to be conducted with me on the phone (probably all day) so it will be difficult enough for me to keep available for difficult child 3. The cordless phone battery just won't last long enough. On top of this, difficult child 3 is fighting a new virus, it would be better for him to work at home and not get dragged in to the school. It IS a correspondence school, after all! I'm glad to be finally improving (I hope). we need to keep it that way. I have to go out on Tuesday to take difficult child 1 to his new specialist, so I think I need to keep my head down tomorrow, despite the inconvenience to the school. Enjoy your Sunday. Marg
