    Good morning. :coffee2:

I'm having one of those mornings that I just can't seem to get going. My allergies are going strong.... I feel like I'm walking through cotton. Ugh!

We'll be going to church today, Duckie will acolyte. Then I think we'll come home so I can nap. I can't seem to get enough sleep the last few days.

    Have a great day! :salute:

    G'day for Sunday.

TM, I'm sorry your hay fever is acting up again. Oh, the perils of Spring! Allergies are one reason for being sleepy. It is exhausting to have the problem.

We've had a fabulously warm day today. I did take my swimsuit to church and after we'd all had lunch, I went for a short swim. The water was warm, it was hot when I came out of the water. I would have liked to stay in longer but my shoulder is hurting badly at the moment and trying to swim was painful.

We came home, got on with other tasks. husband fixed the computer (at last!) and we went down to mother in law's in the evening to cook dinner. We've discovered she's not eating anything else much during the day; she tried to tell us she'd had some fruit for lunch, but husband knew exactly how much fruit had been in her fruit bow, and nothing was missing. Meanwhile the food we'd left in the fridge for her, was untouched. She likes it, she just forgot it as there. We're worried about her, it's as if she's stopped trying to think about things, just reacting at a gut level instead, following old habits. Lots of little things, like cooking potatoes on the stove even though it would be quicker and easier to use the microwave oven.

husband almost set fire to the microwave oven tonight, though - he mis-programmed mother in law's microwave when cooking rice, ended up incinerating it on HIGH for 50 minutes. We set off the smoke detector and ruined my microwave jug. Oh well... it's not as if this happens often.

Tomorrow my cleaner arrives but it's her late week, which is a problem - I'll have to leave early to get away to a specialist's appointment.

The cool change has come through - a cool breeze, but tomorrow will still be too warm for most autumn days. Tomorrow will be a busy day! But productive...

    Enjoy your Sunday.

TM-- I understand the sleep thing. I had not been getting enough sleep for the last several weeks and as a result I got sick. went to the doctor Friday and I have a sinus, ear and throat infection. The antibiotics are finally working, I am feeling a little better but still really tired. It is nice and quiet in the house, so I got up. Will take a nap later. I hope to go back to work tommorrow, I have missed the passed three days.

Marg, I love hearing about your swims. It sounds great. The ocean here is so cold that many times people wear a wet dry or whatever you call it suit to surf. Full lenght with the hood. I am planning to go to the coast mid may, and cannot wait. I may not be able to swim in it but I love walking on the beach, and sitting on the porch of the condo drinking coffee (or in the evening a real drink) and watching and listening to the ocean.

Hope you all have a good Sunday.

    Good Morning!

TM-Sorry to hear your allergies are acting up so much-hope you get in that nap.

Marg-Sorry to hear your arm is hurting. Glad you did get in the water though.

CM-Glad you are starting to feel better. It's nice to enjoy a quiet house.

Our house is very quiet right now. husband got up with difficult child while I slept. Now he is sleeping and so is difficult child. easy child/difficult child has gotten up at all yet. Love the peace and quiet.

A workout, the grocery store, and a nap are on the agenda for today. Soon I'm going to have to mow the lawn-I'm hoping to put it off another week!

    Wishing everyone a peaceful day:peaceful:
