She's 33 and just found out that she has cervical cancer. She's scheduled for a hysterectomy on May 7th. The doctor thinks that they may have caught it before it has a chance to spread.

She's scared and so is her Mom. Any thoughts that could be sent her way will be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you so much!

Sending good thoughts and prayers for her. Such a scary diagnosis, but at least it is in an area that can be completely removed, lessening the chance of the cancer spreading because it was not all removed.

i hope that chemo or the after treatment is not too hard on her and that she can find the help, support and care seh needs throuh this process.

Not sure how she feels about the hysterectomy, and there are some scary online sites about them - or were when i had mine - but for many people the hysterectomy is the start of a positive chapter in the rest or their lives. I know it was one of the ten best things I every did,

Lots of prayers and bead rattling... But it can be treated, which is good!
